From 6–8 October 2025, the global maritime community will gather once again in Limassol, Cyprus, to exchange ideas, shape policy, and steer the future of shipping under this year’s compelling theme: “Unlocking the Future …of Shipping.”

Organised by the Shipping Deputy Ministry, in collaboration with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and the Cyprus Union of Shipowners, Maritime Cyprus has evolved since its inception in 1989 into one of the world’s most influential shipping conferences. In 2025, it promises to continue that tradition, bringing together over 1,000 top-tier participants, including shipowners, regulators, charterers, maritime technology leaders, and international policy-makers.

This year’s programme is set to cover the most critical topics facing the maritime world today, including:

Maritime Events is proud to host the German Evening in Limassol on
Saturday, 11 October 2025 — right after the conclusion of Maritime Cyprus 2025.

While not affiliated with the official Maritime Cyprus Conference, this independently organized event offers an informal and relaxed setting for German-speaking maritime professionals, partners, and friends of the German shipping community to reconnect and celebrate.
