Why we exist
The idea was born over a pint (or two), with an initial goal to revive the beloved Shipping Rally in 2023 while embracing digital innovation to modernise the event. That same year, the team supported Tobias on the organisation of the German Evening, another cherished tradition.
At its core, Maritime Events is a non-profit organisation, powered entirely by volunteers who pour their time, energy and expertise into making each event a success. We rely on the support of our sponsors to cover costs and bring these events to life.
From road rallies to cultural evenings, we are committed to creating moments that celebrate the shipping industry, build connections and leave lasting memories. Whether you are here as a participant, volunteer or sponsor, you are part of a story built on passion and teamwork.
